People that follow the cycles of nature, the cycles of the sun moon and stars, the seasons, give reverance to the four pivotal points of shift that happen in the year; the Solstices- where the strength of balance shifts between light and dark, and the Equinoxes- where there is equality of light and dark.

Interpretations into this are many, and people commemorate through festivities, rituals, traditions too.
