At Florestral, we are working to establish a new way of life outside of the societal status quo. Our community is made up of a diverse, international group of permanent residents who have built homes on their private lots within the land, as well as tenants who rent homes, seasonal volunteers, and a retreat center where we host visitors from around the world to take part in our special way of life. Florestral Hosting Center offers beautifully planned retreats year-round, with private cabin-style accommodations, optional yoga programs, sacred medicine ceremonies, and nourishing, locally grown meals. We also serve as a hosting center for those who are inspired to lead their own retreats in our beautiful space.

 

As members of community , we are also in the constant practice of expanding our own consciousness, to be more sensitive and attentive, to give as well as to receive. We hold space for circling  where real communication can happen, transparency established, needs & roles established and visions realized. Each member can be as active in the community as desired. We respect and enjoy the lifestyle and culture of each person, and among ourselves there is a harmonious agreement of and intention to live in this ecologically conscious way. Our greatest teacher is Nature,  surrounding us and embracing us.
