Let us contemplate that there exists natural order in our Cosmos, beyond our control and attune ourselves to the power of our choices and perspectives.
As the Summer Solstice arrives, may we make time to pause and intuitively reflect upon the significance of the cycles the Earth, Sun and Moon, that in such potent ways influence our inner rhythms - because we are part of the Earth and made of the Cosmos.
When we look towards the natural world for guidance we learn about the nature of our own being.
The Summer Solstice represents the transition from action to patience, nourishment and receptivity.
Amidst all the fire currently ignited on our planet, let us turn inward and find what nourishment we need to grow and evolve within ourselves.
Even in times of uncertainty, may we look to this bright light of the Sun bringing us hope so that we can inspire others.
From this blooming within, may we once again develop faith in life, illuminate the darkness, and trust that just like the Sun, we will rise each day no matter what life brings us.
Let us set in motion a period of awakening in our consciousness, for ourselves and for the world.
By attuning to the Solstice, and creating simple, meaningful rituals, we can access the ancient and cosmic memory within.
Please don't doubt yourself and listen to the inner voice of your intuition, your heart, as this makes everything come through you in a more personal and authentic way
Some ideas include:
Setting sacred time aside for yourself to meditate, contemplate, chant mantra, be creative, make an altar
Consider the ways in which you can nourish your body, your intellect, your spirit - and do so
Shine the light of awareness onto your worries and doubts
Show kindness, compassion, patience, likeness towards others
Reflect on how you can create more peace in your own life
On the dawn of the Solstice, you could offer your heartfelt prayer to the Four Directions, to our Mother Earth and to the Skies above,
sharing your gratitude and beseech the hope within you for our world
May all Beings in all Worlds know Peace
and may the thoughts, words and actions of my being contribute in some way towards this Peace
